Embarrassed

I was so gung ho about writing a blog last fall when the winds were getting colder, and I was envisioning alot of time spent in the house trying to find something to do. Then the holidays came...and life came faster...I've neglected this blog terribly! I don't plan on abandoning it completely. With summer approaching our sights have been set outside...landscaping, gardening....getting things ready for the warmer weather we hope is coming more consistently. (It's going into the low
30's again tonight.) Luckily we haven't planted anything delicate yet.
I do plan on getting in here more often! In the meantime....yesterday I did smoke a pork loin in between gardening. That's the nice thing about firing up the smoker....it's very compatible with gardening! (That's such a girl thing to say..isn't it?) Load up the smoker....go do some weeding...come back in half an hour, check your fire, baste w/apple juice....go do some weeding...continue this cycle for the next 6 hours. The next day not only will your belly be full, but as an online friend told me "you'll be walking like your Grandma!"
